April Parker Foundation Scholarship

The April Parker Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to LA County students aged 17-24 seeking post-secondary education based on demonstrated academic achievement and an expressed interest in pursuing higher education.

This scholarship is intended for students who possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. Students eligible for the award must identify as a person of color and intend to continue their education at an accredited trade school, college or university. Priority will be given to those who are current and former foster and homeless youth, or those who have been impacted by the foster care system. Each scholarship awarded will be $1,000 to be paid in one lump sum payment. Students will be required to submit evidence of academic program acceptance to be awarded. Awards may be used for any college related expenses.

The application deadline is July 11th. The deadline is the date after which applications will no longer be accepted. Please submit applications no later than 11:59pm PST July 11th.
